The Open Water Upgrade course is exactly for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Prerequisites<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>You don\u2019t need any previous diving experience to join our <strong>Open Water Diver Upgrade Course<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here\u2019s what you\u2019ll need before you start:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Minimum age:<\/strong> 10 years old<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Swimming skills:<\/strong> You must be able to swim 200 meters.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Health:<\/strong> Reasonable fitness and a completed medical questionnaire<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What You\u2019ll Learn<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>During your <strong>Open Water Diver Upgrade Course in Koh Samui<\/strong>, you\u2019ll gain the skills and confidence you need. You can explore the underwater world safely. You will also do so responsibly as an independent diver. The course includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Knowledge development:<\/strong> Study diving principles, safety procedures, and ocean awareness independently through e-learning.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Confined water training:<\/strong> Practice all required skills in a swimming pool.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Open water dives:<\/strong> Apply what you\u2019ve learned on 2 boat dives around Koh Samui.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Once certified, you\u2019ll be qualified to dive to a depth of <strong>18 \u2013<\/strong> <strong>20 meters<\/strong> anywhere in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Goal<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This is the first real step in your dive career. You will learn everything needed to become an independent autonomous diver. You\u2019ll be able to explore the underwater world on your own. (with a buddy)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Continue Your Adventure<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>After earning your <strong>Open Water Diver certification<\/strong>, keep exploring, gain experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you\u2019re feeling comfortable underwater, you can move on to our next level. This includes the <a href=\"https:\/\/bophutdiving.com\/en\/index.php\/aowd-description\/\"><strong>Advanced Open Water Diver<\/strong> \/ <strong>30 meter Diver<\/strong><\/a> course.
