🌊 Twins Dive Site — Koh Tao, Thailand

Twins dive site is one of the most popular and beginner-friendly dive sites near Koh Tao in the Gulf of Thailand. Located just off the southwest side of Nang Yuan Island, it’s famous for its calm conditions, shallow depth, and rich marine life.

  • Depth: ~5 to 20 meters
  • Level: Beginner to intermediate (great for Open Water divers)
  • Conditions: Usually calm, low current, excellent visibility (10–30m)

🪸 Site Layout

Twins gets its name from two main granite pinnacles (“the twins”) rising from the sandy seabed. Around these are:

  • Coral-covered boulders
  • Small swim-throughs and channels
  • Sandy patches ideal for spotting bottom-dwellers

The site is often dived as a circuit, looping around the rock formations.
