Short on time and a strong urge to become a certified diver? Then the Scuba Diver course might be just the right thing for you! This is your chance to slap on some fins, strap on a mask and experience an intense adventure within a short amount of time.

The PADI / IFDI Scuba Diver program is perfect for vacationers or people who only plan to dive a couple times a year. As a subprogram of the Open Water Diver program, the PADI / IFDI Scuba Diver course allows you to get certified quickly and easily. With our two day Scuba Diver course you are able to dive on your next vacation or dive trip to a maximum depth of 12 meters / 40 feet under the direct supervision of a diving professional.

PADI or IFDI Scuba Diver certification opens the door to the underwater world for anyone who thinks that traditional scuba course will take too long or might be too difficult.

During the course you will make three pool dives followed by two open water dives at prime locations around Koh Samui.

You can make the jump to Open Water Diver certification whenever time allows or you're up for more. When you sign up for the Scuba Diver course with Searobin you can decide on the last day of your course to continue to an Open Water diver certification which will take only one additional day.

What you will learn

All the basics of scuba diving through knowledge development, a set of scuba skills in the pool that you'll use again during open water dives, and an appreciation for the underwater world that will keep you coming back for more bottom time every chance you get!

During the course you’ll cover material and practice skills related to topics such as:

• Buoyancy skills including comfortable ascents and descents, and breathing underwater.
• Staying warm underwater, streamlining your swimming skills and buddy diving techniques.
• Diving environments and aquatic life you're likely to encounter.
• Preventing common problems underwater.
• An introduction to boat diving.

Searobin's private PADI / IFDI Scuba Diver course on Samui lasts only two days for a group size of maximum of 4 people.

Small group size allows you to work at a pace that is comfortable for you, relaxed and stress-free.  The open water dives are conducted at a prime beach location around Koh Tao.

Prerequisites

Virtually anyone who is in good health, reasonably fit, and comfortable in the water can earn a PADI / IFDI Scuba Diver certification. If you are between 10 and 14 or have a child between these ages, there is a PADI / IFDI Junior Scuba Diver program available.

You are not require to get medical clearance to take the Scuba Diver course. However, please take a look at the medical statement and should you answer yes to any of the questions, please consult a physician before signing up for the course.

In accordance to Flying After Diving guidelines you should not fly within 18 hours after your last dive at 14:00.

Your Next Adventure

You may want to step up to Open Water Diver certification at your first opportunity but as a PADI / IFDI Scuba Diver you also qualify to take: Equipment Specialist and Project AWARE Specialist certification courses.
