🌊 Open Water Diver Course PADI or IFDI at Koh Samui — Explore Koh Samui’s Underwater Paradise

Have you ever dreamed of exploring the stunning underwater world around Koh Samui? The Open Water Diver Course at Bophut Diving Center is your ticket to an incredible new adventure beneath the waves. Perfect for beginners, this internationally recognized certification gives you the freedom to dive anywhere in the world.
Prerequisites
You don’t need any previous diving experience to join our Open Water Diver Course. You just need a sense of adventure. You should also love the ocean!
Here’s what you’ll need before you start:
- Minimum age: 10 years old
- Swimming skills: You must be able to swim 200 meters and float for 10 minutes at the surface.
- Health: Reasonable fitness and a completed medical questionnaire
What You’ll Learn
During your Open Water Diver Course in Koh Samui, you’ll gain the skills and confidence you need. You can explore the underwater world safely. You will also do so responsibly as an independent diver. The course includes:
- Knowledge development: Study diving principles, safety procedures, and ocean awareness independently through e-learning.
- Confined water training: Practice all required skills in a swimming pool.
- Open water dives: Apply what you’ve learned on 4 boat dives around Koh Samui.
Once certified, you’ll be qualified to dive to a depth of 18 – 20 meters anywhere in the world.
Goal
This is the first real step in your dive career. You will learn everything needed to become an independent autonomous diver. You’ll be able to explore the underwater world on your own. (with a buddy)
