Scuba Diver Course in Koh Samui, Thailand — Start Your Underwater Adventure

Ready to take your first breath underwater? At Bophut Diving in beautiful Koh Samui, Thailand, our Scuba Diver Course is the perfect start. Begin your diving journey with us. It is perfectly suited for kids under 15 years of age. It also accommodates all adults with limited time. You can choose between two certifying bodies / diving organizations IFDI or PADI.
Prerequisites
Before you dive into your adventure with Bophut Diving, here’s what you need to know:
- Minimum age: 10 years old
- Swimming ability: Being able to float for 10 minutes at the surface.
- Health: Being fairly physically fit and healthy. You will need to sign a medical statement
No prior scuba experience? No problem! The Scuba Diver Course is designed specifically for beginners. It lets them experience the thrill of diving without committing to a full certification just yet.
What You’ll Learn
Our Scuba Diver Course in Koh Samui gives you the essential skills and confidence to explore the underwater world safely. You’ll learn:
- Dive theory basics: Understanding air pressure, buoyancy, and how your scuba gear works
- Confined water training: Practice key skills in the pool.
- Open water dives: Apply what you’ve learned on 2 boat dives.
Upon completion, you’ll earn your Scuba Diver / 10 meter Diver certification. This certification allows you to dive to a maximum depth of 10 – 12 meters. You must be under the supervision of a professional instructor.
Goal
A fast and easy way to earn your certification in just 1.5 days. Covers only the essential theory. There is no final exam. It is ideal for kids and easily upgradeable to Open Water Diver.
Continue Your Adventure
Once you’ve completed the Scuba Diver Course, the ocean is wide open for you to explore! Should you decide during the course that you want to continue with the Open water diver course just tell us. we will upgrade you with 2 additional dives to Open Water Diver.
